SUBARU OUTBACK XT AWARDED RAC BEST DRIVE FOR 2023 (1289)

The flagship Subaru Outback XT – the latest addition to the Outback lineup – has been awarded RAC's Best Drive in the large SUV category for 2023.

Introduced in early 2023, the turbocharged Subaru Outback XT has garnered exceptional acclaim from Australian consumers, contributing to achieving a record-breaking annual sales performance for Outback in 2023.

RAC's Best Drives annually recognises standout new vehicles, selecting from approximately 60 models road tested by RAC throughout the year. The program considers a range of essential factors, including value, safety, design, functionality, fit for purpose, fuel efficiency within class, ride, and handling.

The Outback XT's triumph demonstrates its exceptional performance across all these key categories, solidifying its status as a standout choice in its class.

RAC's Best Drives 2023 judge, Alex Forrest, remarked: "With markedly stronger outputs at 183kW and 350Nm, from a slightly smaller 2.4-litre engine, the XT completes the Outback range and makes it one of the best large SUV buys out there."
