Jarvis Privacy Collection Statement

This privacy collection statement applies to Jarvis (which includes the entities described at the end of this Statement).

In the course of your dealings with Jarvis, we may collect your personal information about you. The types of information we collect depends on the nature of those dealings but will generally include (but is not limited to):

• contact and identification information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and driver's license details;
• details of your vehicle and any vehicles that you have enquired about, ordered or which we service for you;
• information about warranty and service details to the extent such information identifies you;
• information about your payment, credit, finance and delivery details (if applicable);
• information about you that is collected as part of any promotional or marketing campaigns, customer surveys; and
• other information supplied by you or that Jarvis is otherwise permitted or authorised by law to collect.

Generally, we will collect your personal information from you but from time to time, we may also collect personal information about you from third parties, such as:

• other individuals that deal with us (for example, from your representative, or from a customer e.g. your spouse, who nominates you as the delivery address for a vehicle);
• other members of the Jarvis group;
• other dealers and distributors of the vehicles and other products and services we provide;
• our service providers and business partners (for example, data aggregating companies);
• your credit provider; and
• from publicly available sources.

Jarvis collects your personal information so we can provide you with our products and services including aftersales services and finance, customer support and care, information about our products and services including special offers, for identifying, addressing and preventing fraud, advertising or market research purposes, direct marketing communications, our general business operations, related purposes which would be reasonably expected in the circumstances and as otherwise permitted or authorised by law. You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from Jarvis at any time using the mechanism in such communications or by contacting our Privacy Officer on the details below.

We may use and disclose your personal information for the above purposes and other purposes permitted by the privacy laws. We may also disclose your personal information to our related entities and third parties, such as marketing companies and other contractors, for these and related purposes. If you purchase a motor vehicle from us, or if you apply for finance, we may disclose your personal information to the vehicle manufacturer or to our finance company, other members of the Jarvis group or our other service providers and business partners. In storing your personal information, we may use service providers with data servers located overseas. Otherwise, Jarvis will not otherwise disclose your personal information to recipients overseas without your consent, except where we are otherwise authorised or required to do so by law.

If we are unable to collect the personal information we require, we may be unable to assist you or provide you with the products and services you seek.

The Jarvis Privacy Policy (available on our website at www.jarviscars.com.au/about/privacy/) contains information about how you may access or seek correction of the personal information that Jarvis holds about you, how you can complain to Jarvis if you believe we have breached our obligations, and how Jarvis will deal with your complaint.
