Read the terms before you decide
Every product has its own inclusions, limits and exclusions. Ask for them in writing and take the time to read them. A good product will still be a good product tomorrow.
It is arranged with the car
Anything you choose is sorted alongside the purchase, so the car is ready when you collect it rather than needing a second appointment.
Common questions
Do I have to buy insurance or protection through Jarvis?
No. Everything is optional and nothing is added to your contract without you agreeing to it. Your Business Manager will explain what is available and you decide what, if anything, you want.
Can I add cover after I have collected the car?
Some products can be added later and some have to be arranged at the time of purchase, because they depend on the car being in a particular condition or within a certain age. Ask your Business Manager which is which before you decide to leave something out.
Does an extended warranty replace the manufacturer warranty?
No. It sits alongside it and generally picks up after the manufacturer term ends. Check the inclusions on the product page, because what is covered varies.
Will using scratch and dent cover affect my comprehensive insurance?
The point of a product like this is that minor cosmetic repairs can be handled without a claim on your comprehensive policy, so your no-claim position is not affected. The specific terms are on the product page.
Can protection products be included in my finance?
In many cases yes, they can be included in the amount financed. Be aware that anything added to the loan is paid off with interest over the term, so ask what it costs over the life of the loan rather than just per week.

On the product's own page, linked from the cards above. Each one sets out what is included, the limits and the exclusions. If anything is unclear, ask for it in writing before you agree to it.
